Two classic ceremony plants, hand tied together in one bundle.
Each bundle is about 4 inches, made with farm grown white sage (not wild picked; most of the maker's sage is certified organic) and Palo Santo, hand tied with cotton thread. It is sold by the bundle and lights many times.
In many traditions, sage is used to clear a space and Palo Santo to lift it afterward. To smudge, light the tip over a fireproof dish, let it flame for a few seconds, then blow it out so it smolders, and fan the smoke into corners and doorways with a feather or your hand. Open a window, and press the ember out in sand or a shell when you are done.
