Backstory
After the dimming he bound himself to Sylva. Liora trusts him with roads she cannot walk yet, messages that have to move when portals will not. He is careful with his own flame. Renewal and ruin live in the same bird. He cannot mend himself. While he is lifting the others, someone has to watch the sky for him. That is the bond. There is a poison in the world that wants this fire dirty. There is a last light where rising will not be a metaphor.
