Alexis Long Burhenn is an intuitive empath and spiritual energy healer based in Austin, Texas. Through Reiki, crystals, chakra balancing, sound healing and guided meditation, she helps people slow down, listen to their bodies and heal themselves. As she puts it, “You are choosing to do the work, I am simply a vessel of life energy, and a safe space in order to help facilitate your healing.”
Meet Alexis
Before healing became her work, Alexis spent almost ten years in corporate recruiting at FTI Consulting, Instacart and, most recently, Google. After being affected by the tech layoffs of 2023, she took a long, hard look at her life and her soul’s purpose. Years of Reiki, crystal healing, meditation, talk therapy, shadow work, inner child work, breathwork, life coaching and an impactful past life regression had already changed her, and she realized her passion was helping others self heal through spiritual energy work.
Today she is a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Crystal Healer, Chakra Healer and Sound Healer, as well as a certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher and Practitioner. Her work has been featured in Bold Journey, VoyageAustin and Canvas Rebel magazines and on the Deep Conversations podcast.
A gentle, collaborative approach
Alexis describes her approach as gentle, compassionate and collaborative, and every healing is tailored to the person in front of her. Sessions can weave together guided meditation, hands on or hands off Reiki, crystals, chakra balancing, sound healing and oracle readings. She focuses mainly on the seven chakras, and when a specific part of the body needs extra care, she offers targeted work along with tools to help you connect with that area and understand what it needs.
She specializes in supporting women, from teens to women in their 80s, and many clients see her every two to six weeks so the relationship deepens over time. She sees her work as a complement to the care you already receive, noting that it pairs extremely well with cognitive behavioral therapy and is never a replacement for your healthcare providers.

Ways to work with Alexis
Her In Person Mobile Signature Healing brings the whole experience to you anywhere in the Austin area: she travels to your home, sets up a healing space and guides a session that can include Reiki, meditation, chakra balancing, crystal healing, sound healing and oracle readings. Virtual Signature Healing offers the same method online in 30 or 60 minute sessions. She also leads group meditation classes and healing events, and offers one on one and group crystal shopping appointments, bringing her crystals to you.
