Blisstopia Retreats is a private spiritual wellness retreat sanctuary in Peoria, Arizona, nestled in the Sonoran Desert just outside Phoenix. In their words, it is where the desert meets the divine.
A desert sanctuary for the soul
The private 2.5 acre sanctuary sits at the base of Sunrise Mountain, surrounded by Sonoran Desert landscape, open skies and mountain views. Blisstopia exists solely to support retreats and intentional gatherings, holding a consistent atmosphere of reverence, rest and presence for meditation, yoga, breathwork, somatic practice, sound healing and deep rest. Before a stay begins, guests are invited to set an intention, not as something to fix or achieve, but as a gentle orientation so the experience can unfold in its own way and its own time.
Meet Mark and Lana
At the heart of Blisstopia are its hosts and Trustees, Mark and Lana Royce, wellness professionals with over 75 years of combined experience. As on site caretakers, they personally care for the land and hold space for every group, and they are lifelong students of natural wellness. Blisstopia welcomes all: no judgments, no expectations and no experience required. Come as you are.

Retreats, trainings and gatherings
Blisstopia is home to intimate retreats, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, women's circles and small group trainings, and it is also a place you can simply stay for a solo retreat. Upcoming gatherings include the Soul Vortex Retreat, The Wild Exhale Retreat, the Raw and Wild Retreat and Sage and Radiance, and through Blisstopia Institute they offer yoga teacher trainings along with energy healing and breathwork trainings.
Host your retreat at Blisstopia
Facilitators can bring their own retreats, trainings and workshops to the sanctuary. The 6,800 square foot mountainside villa offers 17 beds across five bedrooms, a yoga studio, pool, hot tub, sauna, labyrinth, fire pit and sunset gazebo, with hiking trails just outside the gate. You bring the people and the retreat vision, and Blisstopia provides the sanctuary and the space.
