Merilyn Smith is an intuitive energy healer, singer, artist and photographer based on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, Australia. Her Temple of Light brings together healing with colour, light, sound and love, through online energy sessions, channelled Portal Paintings, voice alchemy circles and sacred ceremony.
Meet Merilyn
Merilyn describes herself as a light channel, sound and energy healer, voice activator, kinesiologist, spiritual mentor and retreat and workshop facilitator. Every session, song and painting she creates is made in devotion, led by intuition and catered to the energy of each person, with teachings based in oneness and divine love.
Her path weaves together many worlds. After studying at QUT, she worked as a fashion and street style photographer in London and Paris, with images published in Marie Claire online, ELLE UK, Cosmopolitan and InStyle. Alongside her creative career she followed a lifelong spiritual path, training in NeuroEnergetic Kinesiology, Reiki, Polynesian and Hawaiian bodywork, Zen Thai practices and Vocal Somatics.
“May we all help each other in small ways to create bigger waves of expanded hearts.”

Portal Paintings
Merilyn's Portal Paintings are her standout offering. Each one is a unique painting created with your personal energy signature, channelled in oil on canvas over three to four weeks and delivered with an intuitive message. As she puts it, it is more than art, it is an activation. Her paintings carry luminous colour, dreamlike layers and light frequency, each one intuitively channelled with crystalline frequencies and angelic guidance.
Ways to work with Merilyn
- Energy healing and alignment. Online one on one sessions with intuitive channelling, kinesiology based clearing and light code transmissions with sound and vocal toning, plus mobile sessions in person.
- Chakra balance sessions. A gentle online session working with the chakra system through sound, toning, light, colour and energy.
- Intuitive readings. Guidance through tarot, oracle cards and intuitive counselling.
- Ritual and ceremony. Siren song circles along the Australian coast, shamanic sound with the drum and vocal channelling, sacred smoke ceremonies and the Words on Fire poetry ritual.
- Voice Alchemy. Group resonance circles using breath, toning and rhythmic vocal practice so the voice can move into expression with ease.
A free oracle and more on the way
Merilyn has created a free online oracle where you can pick a card and receive a colour frequency message, and a physical deck is in development. She also shares free sound transmissions on her site, and her Healing Portal, a membership sanctuary of meditations, devotional song and light transmissions, is coming soon.
