“Breathe. Feel. Remember. You are the vibration of Light.” That is the welcome on The Cosmic Room’s website, and it sets the tone for this intimate sanctuary on North Mount Shasta Boulevard, in the heart of Mount Shasta. Infused with Divine Feminine energy, the space offers one-on-one sessions, private group experiences and community gatherings for restoration, self-discovery and expanded states of consciousness.
Meet Laurie Light
Laurie Light is a Reiki Master, Breathwork Facilitator, Sound Healer, Sylvotherapy Guide and Priestess of Avalon, with training in past life regression, quantum consciousness and shamanic practices. She shares that her work is shaped not only by professional training “but by a lifetime of navigating grief, trauma, addiction, motherhood, loss, and profound personal transformation.”

Individual sessions
Laurie’s 90 minute Usui Reiki sessions invite you to rest on a massage table while she offers hands on or hovering Reiki, with the option to add the VibroAcoustic Sound Lounge. Her Past Life Regression sessions come as a focused 90 minute experience or a three hour multi life journey, complemented by Reiki.
Private group experiences
For friends, families and retreat groups of 2 to 8 guests, Laurie creates private experiences of about 90 minutes to two hours. Guests settle into cozy floor nests beneath soft lighting, surrounded by sacred geometry. Choices include a Ceremonial Sound Bath with crystal bowls, gong, drum, chimes and song; the Sacred Trio of ceremonial cacao, conscious connected breathwork and sound; group Past Life Regression; a Conscious Connected Breathwork Ceremony with wireless headsets and live sound; and a Shamanic Drum Journey, where the steady rhythm of the drum carries you to the Lower World to meet a power animal ally and return with insight for your path.
Taking the work outside
As of September 1, 2026, Laurie is applying for a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service so she can take her work outdoors. She hopes to lead “heart-led journeys into nature, presence, and remembrance on the sacred lands of Mount Shasta.”
How The Cosmic Room helps the world
Laurie helps the world one small circle at a time. Her gatherings stay intimate, just 2 to 8 guests, so a family, a group of friends or a retreat can share something meaningful together. Through ceremony, breath and sound she invites people to “connect with deeper aspects of themselves, gain insight, release what no longer serves them, and awaken their own innate capacity for healing and transformation.”
Because she has walked through grief and loss herself, she holds space with real compassion. As she puts it, “some of our deepest healing emerges when we feel safe enough to meet ourselves with honesty, compassion, and curiosity.” Creating that kind of safety, in a small candlelit room in the town of Mount Shasta, is her gift.
