On North Broadway in Moore, Oklahoma, Cosmic Shakti House is a crystal shop and wellness studio that calls itself a sanctuary for feminine healing, soft power and cosmic becoming. Owner Shonna Chiles-Heintzelman brought two dreams together under one roof: Cosmic Flora Crystals and Shakti House OKC.

Meet Shonna

Shonna writes that the first time she saw a crystal, she was dreaming. That was back in 2017, and she says the moment sparked a journey that took her around the world, exploring practices that helped her understand herself and care for her wellbeing. She was raised in Moore, and like many Oklahomans her first introduction to spirituality came through traditional religion. She was always full of questions, and that curiosity led her to holistic wellness.

In 2020 she opened Cosmic Flora Crystal Co., a whimsical, creative boutique born from her love of beauty, connection and community during the stillness of the pandemic. Later, as a wife and mother of two, she created Shakti House OKC, a softer, deeper space rooted in self-care, empowerment and support for women. In time it became clear the two were never truly separate. They shared one roof, one community and one vision, so she brought them together as Cosmic Shakti House.

“You don’t have to be ‘spiritual’ to belong here. You don’t have to know what a chakra is, or own a single crystal. You just have to want to reconnect: to yourself, to rest, to creativity, to your own strength.”

The shop carries crystals and curated products, and the studio keeps a full calendar of classes and events. This fall the calendar includes Shonna's Crystals and Chill intro to crystals class and her That Witch Chair Dance class, along with yoga, a Reiki Sound Journey, Kundalini Activation, a SisterRise Women's Circle, a Shadow Work Series, Tarot and Tea, a wand making class and a Spooky Szn Sip and Shop.

The house is also home to a collective of women-led facilitators, including Reiki practitioners, sound healers, mediums, an astrologer and runes reader, yoga teachers and makers of handcrafted jewelry and waist beads. Payment goes directly to each facilitator, and the house describes its model as collaboration over competition. Private bookings include birthday celebrations, bachelorette gatherings and Mother's Blessings for up to 10 guests, and the Wallflower Vendor Program gives local makers and small businesses a display inside the shop.

How Cosmic Shakti House helps the world

Cosmic Shakti House believes in honest healing: slowing down, crying if you need to and not having it all figured out. It is rooted in integrity, trust, vulnerability and flow, and it welcomes your inner world without judgment. The house calls its collective a return to the village way, a place where women come to soften, stretch, dance, reconnect and remember who they are.

That is the heart of what Shonna offers her community. In the words of her site, “We’re not trying to fix you. We’re simply here to walk beside you, to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone.” For women untangling their relationship with their bodies, their mothers or their own enoughness, it is a place to feel calm, held and welcome to stay.
